This event is being hosted by two Providence based folks of Sicilian and Southern Italian descent who share a desire to bring folks together for a meal and community building – to discuss the past and how we might work together to combat fascism in the present and future. Our intentional practices of art making, singing, drumming, and sharing in communal meals are part of a long term dedication we have to reconnecting with ancestral cultural forms of resilience as part of our work to fight oppressive systems.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of paper and ink for printing posters and informational zines, event rental space at the Gateway center, food (including options for dietary restrictions) and drinks, and for bandana printing supplies.

Bandanas are hand screen printed on cotton. Approximately 20 in x 21 inches. Posters are riso printed in light lime, red, and blue on cream cardstock. 11 × 17 inches.
