Who is Snake Hair?
Snake Hair is operated by vin caponigro, with occasional design assistance from Zachary Hobbs. You can read more about what we do, and see photographs of our interns, aka cat bbs, here.

What is sliding scale?
Sliding scale is a set of variable prices for products based on a customer's ability to pay. It is a more equitable system which allows folx with higher incomes to pay on the higher part of the scale and folx with lower incomes to pay on the lower end. I generally encourage folx who ask about what they option they should choose that if they are able to pay all or most of their bills, don't have a lot of debt, and comfortable in their finances to pay on the higher end of the scale. People who live paycheck to paycheck, are from marginalized communities, or do not have money for their basic needs should choose an option on the lower end. And everyone in the middle should choose an option in the middle.

When will my order ship?
Though sometimes faster, in most cases, orders will ship in 5 - 7 days. You will receive an automated email with tracking when your order ships. We only ship via USPS because we believe that the USPS is a vital service and should be fully funded. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes packages may be delayed. Read more about the intentional slow down of mail and defunding of the USPS here. We have no control over your package once it enters their system.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! We’re currently working on getting everything set up for automatic shipping rates worldwide, but for now only so-called United States + Canada are available on the website. If you want to purchase something from abroad, send an email with your postal address and what you’d like to purchase, and we’ll send you a shipping quote.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
No, we do not accept returns or exchanges, but please contact us if something is missing from your order or arrives damaged.

Do you riso print projects for other people?
Yes! We are able to print a small amount of projects for other people each year. Recent examples include Bough House / Bauhaus by Maria Molteni and Girls Can’t Ever Say by #blkgrlswurld. Learn more on our SERVICES page.

Do you wholesale items?
Yes, we do wholesale certain items with shops who align with our beliefs. You can check out shops that carry our wares on the STOCKISTS page. If you are interested in carrying our items, please reach out via email or through our contact form.
